Capture your desktop into a video

In this entry, I want to share a great product I found. If you have been looking for a tool to capture your desktop into videos, probably for training or presentation purposes, you should be able to find a few in the market.

The more prominent of the few you'll find will be TechSmith's Camtasia Studio. The problem however, is that a single-user license for Camtasia Studio will cost you US$299, probably not so affordable if you're not making profit out of the videos you create.

A cool alternative for it would be CamStudio Open Source. It can be found at http://camstudio.org/ and the best part is that it is FREE! A mere 1.3MB file is all you need to start capturing your desktop as a video to produce your very own training videos or maybe a short demo for your presentations. Cool eh?
